my approach
First things first, please do not worry about being nervous in front of the camera., its normal because lets be honest, its not everyday you have someone following you around with a camera all day! I will take time to get to know you both and ensure we meet prior to your special day so that you have a friendly face on the morning of your wedding when the nerves start to creep in.
Most of my work is candid, timeless & authentic, but of course I am also there for those all important family portraits. A long list of formal group portraits and staged shots aren’t really me but of course I am there to capture those all important main family & bridal party shots. I will have your list with me on the day so there is no need to worry about remembering who needs to be where and when, I’ve got you covered!
I believe that the images you will treasure the most in years to come are the candid 'in between' moments captured of you and your guests enjoying your wedding day.. I’ll mingle with your nearest and dearest so hopefully you won’t even notice me there.
When it comes to the two of you, I’ll take you both on a little stroll around the beautiful grounds of your venue, allowing us to take in all its beauty! Providing you with a little guidance on poses to start off then we’ll see where that takes us.

Pre-wedding consultations
This is the perfect opportunity for us to sit down and talk through your day and get excited about the finer details. It's also a great time for me to understand you better as a couple and I can also talk you through your day and combine ideas. I always have ideas for photo opportunities but I want to know what ideas my couples have as well as it's all about you and your day.
Venue visit
I have covered a lot of venues within the North East however in the event that I have not captured a wedding at your venue then I will ensure a venue visit is booked in mi diary prior to your wedding date. This allows to me familiarise myself with the venue and scout out various photo opportunities available!
Wedding day coverage
My full day coverage usually starts around 2/3 hours before your ceremony, allowing me to capture your venue prior to guest arrivals and most importantly the morning preparations before the big I do’s! Leading onto capturing those unforgettable ‘in-between’ moments throughout the ceremony and drinks reception, family portraits to those all important speeches. Taking some time throughout the day for couple portraits before we all have a little dance on the dance floor! Not forgetting a cheeky little golden hour stroll is always welcome if we’re every so lucky
The final product
Following your wedding day , I cannot gate keep your photographs therefore I’ll send over a preview of the day to keep you going! In regards to the final album, I’ll edit through all the photographs taken with a fine tooth comb, providing various black & white edits throughout with final galleries delivered between 10-12 weeks via access to your own online gallery. The online gallery enables you to also share all the precious moments with your nearest and dearest.
As an added extra, your gallery can be posted out to you within one of my wooden USB presentation boxes, because lets be honest who doesn’t love post and wedding related post is always a winner!

All the above but…
I would arrive at your wedding venue an hour before your ceremony for final touches and leave shortly after speeches. All I ask is to ensure that enough time is scheduled and dedicated during your drinks reception for couple portraits in order for you both to soak up that you’re official married and we can get those all important portraits!

engagement shoot

You can add an engagement shoot to your package for £150. This can be at a location of your choice and roughly lasts around an hour. It’s the perfect opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, a chance for you to get to know me and vice versa! Perfect for getting all those camera nerves out before the big day!
usb & presentation box

Who doesn’t love post eh? other than the exception of Vernon Dursley, there’s no better feeling than receiving an item in the post that you’ve been expecting! Alongside side your online gallery which allows you to download and share your final gallery with your family and friends at a fingertip, you can choose to have your gallery delivered on your very own USB presented in a beautiful wooden presentation box.
